New EU Leaders’ Names Finalized by dpa Agency

The German Dpa agency, with sources involved in the negotiations, reports that a new agreement has been reached regarding the future leaders of the European Union (EU). It is stated that the former Prime Minister of Portugal, Antonio Costa, will become the President of the European Council, taking over from Charles Michel. Instead of Josep Borrel, the EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs will now be Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas. Ursula von der Leyen will continue as President of the European Commission for a second term.
