The Cambridge Science Centre has relocated to a permanent location at the Cambridge Science Park, offering 20 interactive experiments and installations for young visitors. With the goal of inspiring children and fostering a lifelong passion for Stem subjects, the charity aims to show that science can be fun and engaging.

CEO John Bull emphasizes the importance of encouraging children to engage with science and overcome any perceived barriers. By providing hands-on exhibits covering a range of Stem topics, the centre aims to spark curiosity and excitement among young learners. Visitors like six-year-old Cosmo enjoy the opportunity to explore and play with new concepts alongside their friends.

Science communicator Mario Satchwell highlights the joy of introducing children to science and witnessing their excitement as they learn new things. The centre, previously located on Jesus Lane, now has a permanent base at the Trinity Centre in the Science Park, surrounded by innovative Stem companies. This move will help reach a wider audience and inspire more children, especially those facing challenges in accessing science education.

Mr. Bull stresses the importance of showing all children that they have the potential to become great scientists and contribute to the field. By igniting a passion for science and encouraging young minds to dream of a future in Stem, the centre aims to make a lasting impact on the next generation of scientists and innovators.
