Episcopal Health Services (EHS) recently welcomed two new executives to its leadership team. Dr. Jameela Yussuf has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. With nearly two decades of healthcare leadership experience, Dr. Yussuf will oversee clinical strategies, workforce planning, and service expansion. She brings multiple degrees, including an MD from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and an MPH from SUNY DHSU School of Public Health.
Jennifer Newburger has taken on the role of Vice President and Chief Quality Officer at EHS. With a background in healthcare quality management, including her previous position as Vice President of Corporate Quality Improvement at Covenant Personal Healthcare, Newburger will focus on quality and patient safety.
Dr. Donald T. Morrish, CEO of Episcopal Health Services, expressed enthusiasm for the appointments of Dr. Yussuf and Ms. Newburger. He stated that their expertise will be invaluable in implementing the 5-year strategic plan to improve health outcomes and expand services.
