Chewy Health has appointed Mita Malhotra as its new president. In this new role, Malhotra’s primary responsibility is to drive long-term growth by developing unique products and services that bridge the gap between pet parents and veterinary partners. According to Malhotra, Chewy Health sees many opportunities in the pet healthcare landscape to create value through customer-centric innovation.
Before joining Chewy Health, Malhotra served as the overseer of Dell’s consumer PC division for eight years. Later on, he became the head of Amazon’s category. In 2018, Malhotra was welcomed to Chewy Health to oversee the construction of Chewy Pharmacy. This led to the introduction of several other initiatives like Practice Hub, Chewie’s in-house pharmacy, Connect with a Veterinarian, and CarePlus. These initiatives are designed to offer a complete healthcare journey for pets and their owners.
