The City of New Ulm is getting ready for Small Business Saturday, a day-long event on Nov. 25 that aims to highlight and celebrate local small businesses. The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Small Business Owners Group, will be creating a flyer/list of businesses participating in Small Business Saturday by offering deals or incentives for local shoppers. The Grinch will also be making appearances at a few participating businesses between 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
With a membership of over 340 businesses, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce represents the city’s largest employers, retailers, professional services, and individuals. The list of participating businesses will be available online and on social media, and a flyer will be inserted into The Journal. For more information, the Chamber of Commerce can be reached by email or by calling (507) 233-4300.
The event is a great opportunity for New Ulm residents to support and explore local businesses, while also enjoying special deals and activities throughout the day. Small Business Saturday not only benefits the local economy, but also creates a sense of community pride and appreciation for the unique businesses that make New Ulm special.
