Newcastle completes £28m deal for Chelsea defender Hall

Newcastle United have made defender Lewis Hall’s loan move from Chelsea permanent for £28m after he impressed during the 2023-24 season. The 19-year-old, who was Chelsea’s Academy Player of the Year in 2023, joined Newcastle last August and made 22 appearances, scoring twice.

Hall, a left-back for the England Under-21 team, expressed his pride in continuing his journey at Newcastle United.
