The company’s press release stated that the construction of the factory has proceeded as planned and on budget, with commercial tire production expected to start in early 2025. The factory’s foundation stone was laid in May 2023, and a team of 60 employees trained at Nokian Tires’ Suomen factory will be involved in the start-up of the new facility. Once it reaches full capacity, the factory is expected to employ approximately 500 individuals.
