The Detroit High School Sports Awards, presented by Detroit Area Honda Dealers, has announced the nominees for Boys and Girls Bowler of the Year. The winners will be revealed during a live show on June 18 at The Fillmore Detroit, in partnership with the U.S. Army.
This nine-month student-athlete recognition program culminates in a red-carpet show this spring, honoring athletes, coaches, and teams from the greater Detroit region that participate in Michigan High School Athletic Association sports. The live show will also recognize players of the year for 27 other sports, as well as present premier awards for outstanding on- and off-the-field achievements.
All nominees who RSVP will receive complimentary tickets to the event, thanks to sponsors. Nominated athletes can register for the show, while guests of nominated athletes can purchase tickets separately. The show promises to be a celebration of athleticism and sportsmanship within the high school community.
The nominees for Boys Bowler of the Year include Bryce Cadaret, Dylan Harnden, Clinton Harris, Landen Moore, Nolan Pepper, and Brendan Riley. On the other hand, the nominees for Girls Bowler of the Year are Kourtney Downham, Caitlyn Johnson, Sophia Matheson, Ava Mazza, Haylie Patterson, and Grace Polega. These talented student-athletes will be recognized for their dedication and skill during the upcoming live show.
