These nominees are chosen based on their performance during the past high school and college sports seasons. The Coach of the Year nominees for the 2024 Twin Tiers Sports Awards include: Elmira College Women’s Hockey’s Greg Haney, who led the Soaring Eagles to an NCAA D-III runner-up finish in his first season; Horseheads Baseball’s Jeff Limoncelli, who achieved his 400th career win and secured another Section IV title; Tioga Wrestling’s Kris Harrington, who guided the Tigers to the overall state tournament title in Albany; and Waverly Football’s Jason Miller, who led the Wolverines to their first-ever state championship.
