Fort Wayne, Indiana, May 15, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Indiana locals are returning to their small communities after having the opportunity to live in big cities. Brandon Knoll was recently promoted to Vice President of Business Development for the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership (NEI) after serving as Director and Senior Director.
Knoll grew up in Pleasant, Indiana, a town with a population of less than 2,000. Despite his humble beginnings, his hard work and determination persevered. He studied Financial Economics at Huntington College and played baseball before graduating with his bachelor’s degree. In 2008, he moved to North Carolina where his work in the financial industry was interrupted by the economic recession. To make ends meet, he sold promotional items door-to-door.
In 2009, he returned to Indiana, where he turned down opportunities in Chicago and New York City to remain in northeastern Indiana. He found his place in a regional partnership, making a difference in the region. Noll was named one of Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly’s 40 Under 40 in 2019 and has a passion for promoting the places he loves.
In his new Vice President of Business Development role, Knoll will drive NEI’s strategy and initiatives, attract new business to the region, and develop strategic partnerships. He is excited about the new challenges and opportunities that come with this role.
Noll’s motivation and spirit of service can be traced to his family. His father is a dedicated factory worker, his mother a former schoolteacher, and he has two brothers who are firefighters and police officers in Indiana. He plans to continue using this motivation to bring results to northeastern Indiana residents.
NEI Chairman Stephane Frisia supports Knoll’s new role and believes he is the right person to lead the region’s economic growth and job creation. There are many exciting projects, including advanced materials and electric vehicle technology companies, that Knoll will lead.
