Officials appointed for IIHF 2024 World Championship

The International Ice Hockey Federation has announced the 32 on-ice officials who will be working at the 2024 IIHF World Championship. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Prague and Ostrava, Czechia, starting on May 10 and concluding with the Gold Medal game on May 26. The teams competing in Group A include Austria, Canada, Denmark, Great Britain, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, and host Czechia. Group B consists of France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, and the United States.

The list of referees selected for the championship includes Andris Ansons from Latvia, Tobias Bjork from Sweden, Riku Brander from Finland, Michael Campbell from Canada, Martin Frano from Czechia, Lassi Heikkinen from Finland, Christoffer Holm from Sweden, Mikael Holm from Sweden, Jan Hribik from Czechia, Tomas Hronsky from Slovakia, Mikko Kaukokari from Finland, Sean MacFarlane from the USA, Mark Pearce from Canada, Andre Schrader from Germany, Michael Tscherrig from Switzerland, and Kristian Vikman from Finland. The linespersons chosen are Kevin Briganti, Nick Briganti, Shane Gustafson, and Tarrington Wyonzek from the USA, Oto Durmis from Slovakia, Dario Fuchs from Switzerland, Tim Heffner and Andreas Hofer from Germany, Daniel Hynek, Jiri Ondracek, Josef Spur from Czechia, Ludvig Lundgren, Lauri Nikulainen, Anders Nyqvist, and Emil Yletyinen from Sweden, and Davis Zunde from Latvia.

The officiating coaches for the tournament are Lukas Jankovic, Vladimir Sindler, and Tomas Torsbrink from Czechia, Jere Lahti and Jukka Pakaslahti from Finland, Christer Parking from Sweden, and Scott Zelkin from the USA.
