Officials report 2 fatalities in plane crash near California airport involving World War II-era aircraft

Two individuals were tragically killed in a plane crash on Saturday in Southern California. The World War II historical plane had crashed shortly after takeoff from Chino Airport. Firefighters arrived at the scene around 12:35 p.m. to find the private Lockheed L12 aircraft off the runway in a grass field about 200 yards away. The identities of the deceased passengers have not been released at this time.
