The Oklahoma Sooners are on track to secure an impressive 2025 recruiting class under the leadership of head coach Brent Venables. Venables has been successful in attracting top talent, aiming for his fourth consecutive top-ten recruiting class since taking on the role. One notable prediction suggests that Venables and Miguel Chavis may be close to securing a key defensive player for the class.
Nebraska insider Bryan Munson has predicted that Kade Pietrzak will commit to Oklahoma, as reported by On3 Sports. Pietrzak, a highly-regarded 4-star defensive lineman, hails from North Dakota and is ranked among the top 200 players nationally by On3. He has demonstrated versatility, playing both defensive end and defensive tackle at Sheyenne High School.
At 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, Pietrzak has the potential to make an impact on the field, although he may need to add some bulk to excel in a competitive conference like the SEC. Venables and Chavis extended an offer to Pietrzak back in January, and he has also received offers from other schools including Nebraska, Kansas State, and Wisconsin.
The interest from Oklahoma has been further solidified by a Rivals FutureCast from Oklahoma insider Parker Thune in May. As the recruitment process unfolds, Pietrzak’s decision could significantly strengthen the Sooners’ defense.
