Olly Downs appointed as Curinos’ Chief Technology and AI Officer

Curinos, a global data-intelligence business that provides expertise, insights and analytics for the financial services industry, has announced the appointment of Olly Downs as Chief Technology and AI Officer. Downs originally joined Curinos in 2023 as Chief Data Scientist and led the personalization technology team in launching the Amplero Personalization Optimizer solution, which he founded in 2016.

The Amplero Personalization Optimizer is a unique personalization tool designed specifically for financial institutions. Utilizing AI, it is optimized for key use cases such as onboarding, cross-selling, and deposit growth. Curinos has recently enhanced the tool with generative AI capabilities for creative content management, enabling marketers to create tailored content for individual clients throughout the customer lifecycle.

In his new role, Downs will oversee Curinos’ data and technology strategy, expand AI and machine learning capabilities, and advance the company’s data platform infrastructure. He will report directly to Craig Woodward, Curinos’ CEO.

Woodward expressed excitement about welcoming Downs to the leadership team, highlighting his expertise in technology and data-driven businesses.
