On-Campus Medical Services Catering specifically to Graduate Students

The Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) is inviting all graduate students to the September Policy Dialogue. The event will take place on Thursday, September 28th at 5:00 PM in Gearhart 026 Auditorium. The Policy Dialogue serves as a platform for graduate and professional students to collaborate with university administrators and professionals on topics that impact their well-being and success on campus. It is also an opportunity for GPSC members to explore potential partnerships with campus organizations and units to enhance service delivery and the overall graduate student experience.

The September Policy Dialogue will focus on campus health services. The first speaker, Dr. Huda Sharaf and Dr. Danette Horn, will discuss the theme of Graduate Students and Campus (Mental) Health Services from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Following their talk, Jennifer Michaud and Laura Andrea James will discuss the topic of Advocacy for Students with Disabilities and the role of the Center for Educational Access (CEA) from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. A Q&A session will be held from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM.

The event will take place in Gearhart Auditorium 026 and will also be available on Zoom. Following the Policy Dialogue, the GPSC General Assembly will commence. Join the GPSC for insightful discussions on physical and mental health services, as well as advocating for students with disabilities on campus.
