In recent weeks, the Wisconsin Badgers football team has been making headlines due to the talented recruits they have added for their class of 2025. While five Big Ten programs were ranked above the Badgers – Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Michigan, and Rutgers – they are still attracting top talent.
Under head coach Luke Fickell, the Badgers have secured 21 verbal commitments, including preferred walk-on specialist Erik Schmidt. The Badgers added 22 players to their class of 2024, with 10 already on campus as early enrollees, including three-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer. Their class of 2024 was ranked as the 23rd best in the country by 247Sports. With their class of 2025 currently ranked at No. 14 by the same service, Wisconsin is poised to continue their success in recruiting top talent.
