Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks had a successful start to the weekend by securing commitments from two highly sought-after prospects in a matter of minutes on Friday. The first commitment came from 4-star defensive lineman Josiah Sharma, who is ranked as the No. 230 player in the 2025 class and the No. 28 defensive lineman. Shortly after, 4-star running back Jordon Davison, ranked as the No. 96 player and No. 6 running back in the class, also committed to the Ducks.
Sharma, standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 295 pounds, will bring a physical presence to the interior defensive line for Oregon next season, adding to their collection of big-bodied players in the trenches. With the addition of these two talents, Oregon’s 2025 recruiting class has moved up to No. 13 in the rankings.
Overall, it was a successful start to the weekend for Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks, as they continue to build a strong recruiting class for the future.
