Outcomes of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s visit to China

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh recently concluded a successful business trip to China, where he participated in the WEF Dalian Conference and engaged in talks, meetings, and working sessions. The Prime Minister attended the 15th Conference of Pioneers of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalian city, Liaoning province at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab.

During the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared Vietnam’s story of innovation, integration, and development, highlighting the country’s achievements, policies, and strategic direction for national development. He emphasized the importance of promoting science and innovation to create new growth engines, while focusing on training a skilled workforce for the future.

The Prime Minister also engaged in discussions with leaders of major WEF corporations, demonstrating Vietnam’s commitment to transforming its growth model and creating an attractive environment for investors. WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab praised Vietnam as a dynamic economy and a beacon of economic development in the region.

Additionally, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held bilateral meetings with Chinese leaders, including President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Qiang, to strengthen and enhance cooperation between the two countries. They discussed specific directions and measures to promote cooperation in various fields, such as transport infrastructure, trade, investment, and human resource development.

Overall, the talks and meetings with senior Chinese leaders focused on maintaining high-level strategic exchanges, boosting political trust, and promoting bilateral relations between Vietnam and China. The two countries agreed to continue strengthening their partnership, implementing friendly exchange mechanisms, and addressing disagreements in a peaceful and cooperative manner to maintain peace and stability in the region and the world.
