Beginning in 2025, the NCAA Division III Presidents’ Athletic Conference will divide into two divisions for men’s and women’s basketball, as well as women’s volleyball. The conference will consist of 12 schools with the readdition of Hiram in the 2025-26 season. The two divisions, North and South, will each have six teams and will compete in divisional crossover games across the three sports.
The PAC North Division will include Allegheny, Geneva, Grove City, Hiram, Thiel, and Westminster. The PAC South Division will consist of Bethany, Chatham, Franciscan, Saint Vincent, Washington & Jefferson, and Waynesburg. Each sport will play 16 conference games, facing their five divisional opponents twice in a home-and-home series.
Despite the divisional split, the PAC tournaments will remain for all three sports. The overall conference champion will still receive an automatic bid to the NCAA tournaments.
