The Packers announced on Monday that they have signed safety Javon Bullard, making him the latest draft pick to agree to his deal with the team. Bullard, a second-round pick, has signed a four-year deal with the team. However, first-round tackle Jordan Morgan is the only member of the 11-player draft class who has not signed yet.
Bullard, who spent the last three seasons at Georgia, has an impressive college career, with 114 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, four interceptions, and a fumble recovery. Notably, two of his interceptions came in the Bulldogs’ national title game victory over TCU after the 2022 season.
In addition to Bullard, the Packers also drafted Kitan Oladapo and Evan Williams, and signed Xavier McKinney as a free agent. This means that Bullard is one of many new safeties joining the team in Green Bay. It will be interesting to see how Bullard and the other new additions will contribute to the Packers’ defense in the upcoming season.
