Pakistan’s T20 World Cup campaign has been under fire after their poor performance in the tournament held in the USA. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering implementing a code of conduct for players due to their behavior and performance during the tournament. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is reportedly upset with senior officials for allowing indiscipline within the team, which resulted in their failure to advance beyond the league stage.

According to a source, the PCB may lose some senior management officials and is planning to enforce stricter policies for players in the future. One of the expected policies is that players will not be allowed to have their families accompany them to ICC and other major events. This decision comes after it was revealed that many players took their families, including wives, children, parents, and brothers, to the World Cup, which displeased the chairman.

The source mentioned that inquiries revealed that some senior officials in the board had granted permission for players to bring their families along, leading to the chairman’s dissatisfaction with the situation. The PCB chief has requested a performance assessment report from all senior management officials as preparations for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan are underway. This move aims to address the lack of professionalism and accountability within the organization and improve the team’s performance in future tournaments.
