The annual ‘Salute to Freedom’ 4th of July celebration hosted by Destination Panama City is set to take place on July 4th at 4 p.m. on West Beach Dr. This free festival offers a variety of activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Kids can look forward to a touch tank showcasing marine life, sandcastle building stations, and face painting. For the adults, there will be live performances by three different bands and over 40 food trucks and vendors to enjoy.
The Panama City Fire Department will be providing grilling safety tips, adding a safety element to the festivities. Over the years, the festival has become a great gathering place for the local community to celebrate and enjoy quality time together.
President & CEO of Destination Panama City, Jennifer Vigil, emphasized the importance of coming together to celebrate the nation’s independence. The highlight of the festival is always the impressive fireworks display over the bay, lasting approximately 20 minutes and starting at 9 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets to make the most of the festival experience. It promises to be a fun-filled day of celebration and community connection for all.
