Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan extended his warm congratulations to the President of the United States, Joe Biden, on the occasion of Independence Day. In his message, Pashinyan highlighted the universal values of freedom, justice, and democracy that were instrumental in the creation of the United States and remain a source of inspiration worldwide. He praised the ideas enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and their enduring impact.
Additionally, Pashinyan emphasized Armenia’s support for the United States’ role in promoting peace in the region and expressed deep appreciation for the country’s assistance in upholding Armenia’s sovereignty, independence, democracy, territorial integrity, and border security, in accordance with the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration. The Prime Minister reiterated Armenia’s commitment to pursuing the peace agenda and fostering strong bilateral relations.
He expressed confidence that the continued partnership between Yerevan and Washington would contribute to a peaceful and prosperous future for both nations and the region. As the USA marked its 248th Independence Day, Pashinyan’s message underscored the importance of the enduring values shared between the two countries.
