Patients in Gaza Urge the World to Know What Is Happening Here

Dr. Mohammed “Adeel” Khaleel, an orthopedic spine surgeon from Dallas, Texas, recently shared the harrowing scenes he witnessed during his medical mission in Gaza with Ryan Grim on Deconstructed. He described seeing children in the ICU with bullet wounds to the chest or head, highlighting the devastating impact on human life in the midst of destroyed hospital infrastructure.

Despite the challenges he faced, Khaleel talked about the dedication of medical personnel who were determined to provide aid in any way they could amidst the devastation. He emphasized the importance of not forgetting the patients and doctors in Gaza who are still in need of help.

Khaleel returned to the U.S. with a strong message from those in Gaza, urging others to remember the ongoing hardships they face. The transcript of his interview with Ryan Grim will be available soon for those interested in learning more about his experiences and the situation in Gaza.
