Patrick Paul, Second-Round Pick, Signed by Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins have officially signed tackle Patrick Paul, making him the sixth member of their seven-player draft class to agree to a four-year deal with the team. Paul, a second-round pick, started every game at left tackle for Houston over the last three seasons and was a first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection each year.

With Paul now signed, the only remaining unsigned draft pick for the Dolphins is first-round selection Chop Robinson. The team currently has returning left tackle Terron Armstead, but his injury history suggests that Paul may have an opportunity to see playing time in Miami sooner rather than later.

Overall, the Dolphins are making progress in getting their draft picks signed and ready for the upcoming season. Paul’s signing adds depth to their offensive line and provides a promising option to fill in for Armstead if he is sidelined due to injury. As the team continues to negotiate with Robinson, they are moving closer to having their entire draft class under contract.
