Pending legislation to be discussed in business meeting

The business meeting will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, DC.

The purpose of the business meeting is to consider legislation on the following topics:

1. S. 384, A bill to establish the Springfield 1908 Race Riot National Monument for the State of Illinois and for other purposes. (Mr. Duckworth).

2. S. 432, to amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to designate the Nulhegan River and Pole Stream in Vermont for potential addition to the National Natural and Scenic River System and for other purposes. bill. (Mr. Welch).

3. S. 507, A bill to establish the Ralph David Abernathy Sr. National Monument and other purposes. (Mr. Ossoff).

4. S. 594, a bill to require the Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior to prioritize the completion of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and other purposes. (Mr. Heinrich).

5. S. 608, A bill to amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Directs the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a study of the Deerfield River for possible addition to the National Wild and Scenic River System and for other purposes. (Mr. Marky).

6. S. 636, a bill to establish the Dolores River National Conservation Area and the Dolores River Special Management Area in Colorado for the protection of private water rights in the state and for other purposes. (Mr. Bennett).

7. S. 912, a bill requiring the Secretary of Energy to provide technology grants to enhance domestic mining education and for other purposes. (Mr. Barrasso).

8. S. 924, an amendment to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Development Act to extend the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park Commission. (Mr. Cardan).

9. S. 961, a bill to redesignate the Salem Maritime National Historic Site in Salem, Massachusetts, as the “Salem Maritime National Historical Park” and for other purposes. (Mr. Marky).

10. S. 1015, a bill to require the Secretary of Agriculture to relocate Pleasant Valley Ranger District management lands to Gila County, Arizona. (Mr. Kelly).

11. S. 1059, A bill to adjust the boundaries and other purposes of Big Bend National Park, Texas. (Mr. Cornyn).

12. S. 1088, A bill to authorize the abandonment and alternative selection of lands and minerals within the State of North Dakota, and to provide for the restoration of lands and minerals to Indian tribes within the State of North Dakota, and for other purposes. (Mr. Hoeven).

13. S. 1097, a bill to establish the Cesar E. Chavez and Farm Workers Movement National Historical Park in California and Arizona, and for other purposes. (Mr. Padilla).

14. S. 1254, Designating and Expanding the Natural Areas of the Olympic National Forest in the State of Washington and Designating Certain Rivers in the Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park as Natural and Scenic Rivers, and for Other Purposes. bill. (Mrs. Murray).

15. S. 1277, A bill to change the boundaries and other purposes of Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. (Mr. McConnell).

16. S. 1405, a bill providing for the exchange of certain federal and state lands in Utah. (Mr. Lee).

19. S. 1657, an act authorizing the Secretary of the Interior to transfer certain lands to La Paz County, Arizona, and for other purposes. (Mr. Cinema).

20. S. 1760, An Act to amend the Apex Projects of Nevada Land Transfer and Licensing Act of 1989 to include the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada and the Apex Industrial Park Owners Association, and for other purposes. (Mr. Cortés Masto).

21. S. 2018, authorizing the Secretary of the Interior to conduct an assessment to identify locations within national parks with the greatest need for broadband Internet access services and areas within national parks with greatest need for broadband Internet access services. A bill requiring it. Mobile Phone Services and Other Purposes. (Mr. Barrasso).

22. S. 2020, a bill amending his Oregon Resource Conservation Act of 1996 to reauthorize the Deschutes River Conservation Task Force and for other purposes. (Mr. Markley).

23. S. 2042, A bill to amend the Sloan Canyon National Preserve Act to, among other things, adjust the boundaries of the Sloan Canyon National Preserve. (Mr. Cortes Masto).

24. S. 2136, a bill requiring the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to convey certain federal lands to the State of Utah for incorporation into certain state parks and for other purposes. (Mr. Lee).

25. S. 2149, a bill to maintain economic development and recreational use of lands in the National Forest System of Montana, to add certain lands to the National Wilderness System, and to designate new areas for recreation and other purposes. (Mr. Tester).

26. S. 2216, a bill to remove certain lands in Montana from the Wilderness Study Area designation, to improve the management of such lands, and for other purposes. (Mr. Daines).
