PEPM Group, an engineering services firm based in Tulsa, is relocating its Fayetteville office to a larger building. The company purchased a 10,000-square-foot building at 1088 E. Millsap Road for $2.35 million. The previous owner of the building was Fayetteville-based company Slim Chickens, who moved its corporate offices to a larger building on East Millsap last year.
Cameron Clark from Bennett Commercial Real Estate in Rogers represented the buyer in the transaction, while David Erstine and Hunter Groce from CBRE in Fayetteville represented the seller. PEPM Group’s previous office in Fayetteville was in leased space at 300 N. College Ave. The company was founded in 2010 by owner Yi Zhang and focuses on designing meat and poultry processing plants and working in the oil and gas industry. Their services include engineering, 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and project management. The company opened the Fayetteville office in 2021.
Yi Zhang, the president, and CEO of PEPM Group expressed excitement about contributing to the financial growth and strength of Northwest Arkansas as the company expands and broadens its business portfolio. PEPM Group currently has around 20 employees, and the Fayetteville office on East Millsap will initially have seven engineers with plans to add more jobs later this year.
