Howard Eskin, a well-known figure in Philadelphia sports media, has been banned from Citizens Bank Park for the remainder of the season. The ban was put in place after an investigation revealed that he made an unwanted advance towards a female Aramark employee in May. The incident took place in the CP Rankin Club, an exclusive area in the park, where Eskin allegedly tried to kiss the woman as she backed away.

Sources familiar with the situation stated that Audacy, the parent company of Sports Radio WIP, where Eskin is employed, learned of the unwanted kiss and launched an investigation. While the investigation involved the Phillies, Aramark, and Audacy, it was ultimately Audacy’s decision to bar Eskin from the park for the rest of the season. Despite the ban, Eskin will continue to host his two-hour Saturday show on WIP and make guest appearances on the Tuesday midday show.

In response to the situation, the Phillies released a statement expressing their support for Audacy’s decision to suspend Eskin from Citizens Bank Park. The 73-year-old broadcaster, who has been a fixture in Philadelphia sports media for years, will not be permitted at the park for the rest of the season as a result of his actions.
