Photos and review of Starbucks’ summer berry refreshers boba-inspired drinks

Starbucks has recently introduced a new line of boba-inspired Refresher drinks in the United States. These drinks feature colorful beverages with raspberry-flavored popping pearls and a Summer-Berry Refreshers mixture. Despite their appealing appearance, one of the coconut-milk-based beverages was lacking in flavor.

The new boba-inspired drinks were released two and a half years after Starbucks announced a limited test with coffee pearls. The three new iced beverages, with lengthy names like the Summer-Berry Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers Beverage, the Summer Skies Drink Starbucks Refreshers Beverage, and the Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers Beverage, are now available for customers to enjoy.

Unlike traditional boba beverages that use tea as a base, these Starbucks drinks do not contain any tea. The Refresher drinks aim to capture the taste of summer berries like blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. I had the opportunity to try the Summer Skies Drink Starbucks Refreshers Beverage and the Summer-Berry Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers Beverage to see for myself.
