Lewis Hamilton is set to join Ferrari in the year 2025 after spending 11 successful years with Mercedes. Recently, an anonymous email was sent to Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff claiming that Hamilton’s car had been sabotaged. Despite initial concerns, the police have confirmed that no criminal offenses were committed by the sender of the email.

The Northamptonshire police received a report regarding the email that had circulated within the Mercedes AMG F1 Team. After investigation, it was determined that no criminal activities took place. The police did offer advice on handling any future emails that the team may receive. Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton remain focused on ending their partnership positively, despite the speculation and accusations.

Wolff dismissed the claims made in the email as baseless, attributing them to paranoia. He reiterated his and Hamilton’s commitment to finishing their time together on a high note before Hamilton makes the move to Ferrari. The origin of the email remains a mystery, with Wolff stating that it did not seem to come from a Mercedes employee.

At the recent Spanish Grand Prix, Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur denounced the claims in the email as irrational. Vasseur emphasized the intense competition in Formula 1 and the dedication of teams to secure victories. He defended the integrity of Ferrari’s operations, stating that no team in the paddock would engage in such actions. Vasseur highlighted the fierce competition for points and championship titles as the primary focus for all teams, including Ferrari.
