Police say man discovered deceased between wall of New Jersey business and shipping container

A man was discovered dead on Tuesday afternoon wedged between the wall of a Newark business and a shipping container, the police reported. Officers and firefighters from Newark hurried to the scene on the 200 block of Frelinghuysen Avenue at 3:55 p.m. They managed to move the container and extract the man from the tight space, but he was declared dead at the scene nearly an hour later, according to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé.

FragĂ© stated that foul play was not suspected in the man’s death. No further details were released on Tuesday evening as the incident remains under investigation. The authorities are seeking any information from the public that could aid in the investigation.
