The Berlin police have issued a public search for a suspected violent offender, believed to be responsible for pushing a 72-year-old man onto the tracks at the Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz subway station in April. The incident resulted in the senior citizen sustaining serious head injuries and requiring emergency surgery. The police have released pictures of the 36-year-old suspect, appealing to the public for any information that may help with the investigation.
Described as wearing a dark jacket, jeans, black sneakers, and a black cap, the suspect also had a dark backpack in his possession at the time of the incident. The police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the event or has knowledge of the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward.
