Praytell recruits Sean Flynn from Ketchum to co-lead sports practice

Praytell has recently added Sean Flynn as the Senior Vice President of its new sports practice based in Austin, TX. In his new role, Flynn will lead a team of 10 staffers alongside Senior Vice President Stephanie Shambo. This move represents a significant investment by the agency in the sports sector, with the Summer Olympic Games in Paris on the horizon and a growing demand for sports expertise from clients around the world.

Flynn, formerly with Ketchum as a Senior Vice President, brings a wealth of experience to Praytell. He believes that any brand can benefit from a sports angle, as sports stories are often the most memorable and engaging for audiences. By helping clients maximize their sports investments, identifying brand opportunities, and expanding the agency’s client base, Flynn aims to make a significant impact in the sports industry.

Furthermore, Flynn will be instrumental in supporting Praytell’s holding company Project, which aims to bring together individuals from across the network in a collaborative approach. With a strong track record working with brands such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, AllTrails, and Sea-Doo, Flynn is well-equipped to handle the diverse demands of the sports, gaming, and entertainment industries.

Praytell, headquartered in Brooklyn, NY, recently secured a contract with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism as their U.S. PR and influencer Agency of Record (AOR). Despite a slight decrease in revenue in 2023, Praytell remains focused on growth and innovation in the world of sports PR and marketing.
