X, formerly known as Twitter, has made an announcement that the ability to conduct live broadcasts will now only be available to users who are subscribed to the Premium version of the social network. This means that soon, this feature will no longer be accessible for free to all users.

The platform, owned by Elon Musk, allows users to stream live video content and share it with others in real-time, similar to platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Discord. Users can share anything from breaking news to important live events directly from their X account.

Currently, all users, whether they are using the app for free or have a subscription, have access to this feature. However, X has stated that soon this will change and only Premium users will be able to create live video broadcasts. This also includes broadcasts made from an encoder with integration in X.

To continue using this feature, users will need to have a subscription to X Premium, which starts at 8 euros per month for the web version in Spain. This change was announced by X on their Live profile, specifying that only Premium subscribers will have the ability to livestream.

In order to maintain access to live broadcasting features on X, users will need to upgrade to a Premium subscription. This shift will impact how users can interact and share content on the platform in the future.
