President of Nelson-Jameson Recognized as a CEO to Watch by Family Business Magazine

Nelson-Jameson, a food processing distributor, recently announced that its president, Mike Rindy, has been recognized by Family Business Magazine as a CEO to Watch, Class of 2023. This annual award honors family and non-family chief executives who exhibit exceptional leadership that positions their businesses for future generations. A feature highlighting Rindy will be featured in both the November/December 2023 print and online editions of the magazine. Rindy expressed his gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of leadership for the benefit of the next generation. He also highlighted the core principle of Nelson-Jameson’s culture, which focuses on carrying its legacy forward.

Rindy joined Nelson-Jameson in 2020 and in his three-year tenure, navigated the company through the challenges of the pandemic and supply chain disruptions. He also oversaw the expansion of the company into new cities and markets while maintaining the company’s ethos of ethical operation and respect for people, the community, and the environment. Nelson-Jameson, a family business that has been operating for over 75 years, has continuously been led by a family member.

Adam Nelson, a fourth-generation owner of Nelson-Jameson and current chairman of the company, praised Rindy for his contributions and the impact he has had on the organization.
