Protesters in France rally against the surge of the extreme right

In various parts of France, such as Paris, Marseille, and Rennes, hundreds of people gathered this afternoon in response to the overwhelming victory of the far-right National Rally in the European elections. Parties, associations, and union organizations, including France Insoumise (LFI), the General Confederation of Labor (CGT), and the National Union of Students, called on the French to protest against the rise of the extreme right in the main squares of French cities.
