Rams star receiver Cooper Kupp received good news Monday after further testing of his right ankle. Kupp, who left in the second quarter and did not return Sunday, has a lateral ankle sprain and is considered day to day. According to Rams coach Sean McVay, this was positive news and there is a real possibility that Kupp could play on Sunday against the Cardinals. McVay also mentioned that Kupp is determined to do everything in his power to be available for the upcoming game.

The Rams will be closely monitoring the functionality of Kupp’s ankle throughout the week. In addition to Kupp’s injury, rookie receiver Puka Nacua injured his shoulder on the pass interference penalty he drew in the fourth quarter and is also considered day to day. However, the Rams will see the return of running back Kyren Williams this week. Williams has not played since Week 6 when he sprained his left ankle, and McVay expressed his excitement to have him back due to his productivity, play energy, and overall presence on the field.
