Randy Gregory is absent from Bucs mandatory minicamp without notice.

Left tackle Tristan Wirfs arrived at the Buccaneers’ facility for the start of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. However, Edge rusher Randy Gregory was noticeably absent from the workout. Head coach Todd Bowles confirmed during a press conference that Gregory’s absence was unexcused and would be addressed by the team. Missing the entire session could result in fines of over $100,000 for Gregory.

Gregory recently signed with the Buccaneers as a free agent in April after playing for the Broncos and 49ers last season. He is currently involved in a lawsuit against the NFL and the Broncos regarding fines he received for marijuana use. Despite missing minicamp, it remains to be seen how Gregory’s absence will impact his standing with the team moving forward.
