The Ravens wrapped up their offseason program with a final minicamp practice on Thursday, where cornerback Marlon Humphrey continued to sit out team drills. Humphrey had been limited in previous OTA sessions open to the media this spring, and head coach John Harbaugh provided a brief update on his status after minicamp. Although Harbaugh did not specify the nature of Humphrey’s injury, he reassured that it is not expected to affect his availability for training camp. Harbaugh described it as “just nagging things” and expressed confidence that Humphrey should be ready for training camp without any issues.
Humphrey, who missed time at the beginning of last season due to a foot injury and later dealt with a calf injury that sidelined him, was also forced to leave early in the AFC Championship Game loss to the Chiefs. Despite these setbacks, the team is hopeful that Humphrey will be fully healthy and ready to go once training camp begins. The Ravens will be counting on Humphrey’s skills and leadership in the secondary during the upcoming season, making his health a top priority for the team. With training camp on the horizon, the focus will now shift to ensuring Humphrey’s recovery progresses smoothly and that he can rejoin his teammates on the field as soon as possible.
