The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 was an event to remember, with many incredible moments that will go down in history. The tournament took place in West Indies and USA, and saw some amazing feats and records broken by the teams competing.

One of the most notable records broken was the number of wins by the finalists. Both India and South Africa went into the final unbeaten, which meant that the champion would set a new record for the most wins in a Men’s T20 World Cup tournament. India finished with eight match wins, while South Africa also had the same number of wins. However, India missed out on a possible victory due to a match against Canada in the group stage being washed out.

In the final, India’s total score of 176/7 was the highest by any team in the final of a Men’s T20 World Cup, surpassing Australia’s score of 173/2 against New Zealand in 2021. Additionally, Rohit Sharma, at the age of 37 years and 60 days, became the oldest man to captain a team to T20 World Cup glory.

Overall, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 was truly a spectacular event filled with incredible performances and record-breaking moments that will be remembered for years to come.
