The second episode of the Fanpage investigation on neo-fascism in National Youth, the Youth movement of FdI, has reignited controversy that previously sparked confrontation between the majority and opposition. New images and audio have surfaced focusing on prominent elements of Gn who are also part of party and government staff. Anti-Semitic insults, Roman salutes, and nostalgia for fascism are among the behavior captured in the images and audio disclosed. This has led to actions such as Flaminia Paci leaving the National Council and Elisa Segnini stepping down as the head of secretary of the deputy Ylenja Lucaselli.

Giovanni Donzelli, head of FdI Organization, stated that there is no place in Fratelli d’Italia for racists, extremists, and anti-Semites. He expressed solidarity with Senator Ester Mieli, who was targeted with anti-Semitic insults. FdI plans to intervene firmly against those responsible for the unacceptable language heard in the released videos. The opposition is calling for a strong stance from Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to distance herself from the behavior exhibited by members of FdI.

Senator Ester Mieli clarified that she does not recognize herself in the images and behaviors shown, condemning them as reprehensible and criminal. The Jewish Community of Rome has also issued a message of condemnation regarding the anti-Semitic behavior captured in the investigation. Actions are being taken to address and rectify the situation within FdI to ensure that such behavior is not tolerated.
