Results of the 2024 Misano World Superbike Race (2) | World Superbikes

Toprak Razgatlioglu achieved a perfect hat-trick of wins at Misano in Ducati’s home round to solidify his lead in the WorldSBK title race. Despite dropping to fifth place at the start, the new BMW star quickly made his way to the front of the pack. Nicolo Bulega initially set a strong pace but was unable to hold off Razgatlioglu, who eventually passed him and pulled away from the competition.

Razgatlioglu’s winning margin was slightly reduced to 2.980s after a dramatic stoppie across the finish line. Reigning champion Alvaro Bautista fought his way back from 11th on the grid, following a fall in the Superpole race, to secure a spot on the podium behind Bulega. Kawasaki’s Alex Lowes tried to challenge Bautista for position but had to settle for fourth place ahead of Yamaha’s Andrea Locatelli and a valiant performance by the injured Danilo Petrucci, who was the top Independent rider.

After the race at Misano, Razgatlioglu holds a 21-point lead over Bulega, with Bautista trailing by 24 points in third place. The next WorldSBK round is set to take place at Donington Park in July.
