Results of the New Hampshire Cup Race: Who Came Out on Top and Who Fell Short?

After the Cup race at New Hampshire, there were clear winners and losers based on their performances. Among the winners was Christopher Bell, who won the race just a day after winning the Xfinity race. This victory, along with his other win, made it easier for car owner Joe Gibbs to forgive him for revealing the identity of the driver expected to take over the No. 19 ride next year. Joe Gibbs Racing also had a successful day, with Christopher Bell’s victory marking the 13th consecutive race at New Hampshire where the team had a car finish first or second. Chase Briscoe and Josh Berry also had notable performances, finishing second and third respectively.

On the other hand, there were clear losers after the race. Bubba Wallace was collected in a crash and finished 34th, falling out of a playoff spot. Justin Haley, who was in fifth place when the race was halted by rain, had his race derailed after his car was damaged by contact with another driver. Kyle Busch had a rough day as well, being lapped early and being involved in three accidents before ending with a 35th-place finish. Furthermore, Hendrick Motorsports continued to struggle at New Hampshire, with their last win at the track dating back to 2012. None of their cars placed in the top 15, with Alex Bowman finishing last after an engine failure.

Throughout the race, drivers had different challenges to overcome, including running on the wet weather tires due to rain. Each driver faced a unique set of circumstances that determined their final positions in the race.
