Risant Health is a nonprofit, charitable organization created by Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. Cone Health is a large healthcare network in the Piedmont Triad, employing over 13,000 people and serving more than 200,000 patients. The CEO and president of Cone Health, Dr. Mary Jo Cagle, stated that becoming a part of Risant Health presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare in the Triad and beyond. Despite the acquisition, Cone Health’s branding will remain the same, and its leadership team will continue to operate independently.
