Riza is the newest addition to Bulut’s coaching staff at Cardiff

Cardiff City boss Erol Bulut recently extended his contract for another two years, following a successful 2023-24 Championship season. As part of his coaching staff for the upcoming season, Bulut has brought on former Watford coach Omer Riza. Riza, a former striker, has been coaching at Vicarage Road for the past six years and was involved in the academy from 2018 to 2023.

In addition to signing Riza, Cardiff City also agreed deals to retain Nikolaos Karydas and Tom Ramasut, as well as goalkeeping coach Mario Galinovic. However, assistant coach Nadir Sonmez has departed the Cardiff City Stadium after one season. It seems that Bulut is making strategic moves to strengthen the coaching staff and set the team up for continued success in the coming season. With these changes, Cardiff City fans can look forward to an exciting and promising future under Bulut’s leadership.
