Rohit Sharma equals Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s record after leading India to T20 World Cup semifinals

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has been making waves in the T20 International (T20I) format, excelling both as a leader and a batsman. After a recent T20 World Cup victory against Australia, he has matched Pakistan captain Babar Azam’s record for the most wins as a captain in this format. In addition, Sharma has surpassed his teammate Virat Kohli to become the leading run-scorer in T20Is.

Sharma has led India to 48 wins in the T20I format, a feat he shares with Babar Azam.
