The Kansas City Chiefs have dominated their AFC rival Buffalo Bills in their last three postseason meetings. The rivalry between star quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen is expected to be a marquee matchup for years to come, regardless of the teams’ records.
Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke to Ryan Fitzpatrick about his opinion on the best NFL golfer ahead of this year’s American Century Championship, as well as the Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills rivalry. Fitzpatrick believes that Tony Romo has proven himself to be the best golfer over the years, winning the American Central Championship three times.
The annual American Century Championship awards $750,000 in prize money, with much of it being donated by celebrity players to charitable causes. Nearly $8 million has been donated to non-profit organizations over the years. The competition isn’t limited to the golf course, as the rivalry between Kansas City and Buffalo continues to fuel competition on the football field.
Fitzpatrick, who spent four seasons with the Buffalo Bills during his 17-year NFL career, expressed excitement over the quarterback rivalry between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. He believes that this matchup will continue to be a highlight in the league, just like the historic rivalry between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Fitzpatrick sees Allen as a key player who gives the Bills a chance to win the Super Bowl whenever he’s on the field.
