This week on CCX Sports Spotlight, Chaz Mootz highlights the talented senior golfer Sacchi Deshmukh from Wayzata. Deshmukh has been a part of the Trojans’ varsity team since seventh grade and consistently ranks among the top six players on the team. She is currently ranked second in the state by the Minnesota Golf Association and placed sixth at the class AAA state tournament last year.
In addition to her golfing skills, Deshmukh is also a talented violinist and a vital member of the Wayzata High School orchestra. Despite her busy schedule, she maintains excellent grades and has plans to pursue a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Texas after graduation.
