Apple has recently released a new update for the Safari Technology Preview, a browsing tool designed for developers to test out new features that may potentially be incorporated into future Safari releases. The latest update, Safari Technology Preview 197, includes various updates and fixes for CSS, Forms, Canvas, JavaScript, Security, WebDriver, Web Inspector, Media, Rendering, SVG, and WebGL. This version is compatible with the macOS Sequoia beta as well as the macOS Sonoma, and can be used alongside the current Safari Browser.
For those who already have the Safari Technology Preview browser installed, the update can be easily accessed through the Software Update feature within the System Settings or System Preferences area. Detailed notes on the latest release can be viewed on the Safari Technology Preview site.
The primary objective of the Safari Technology Preview is to gather insights and feedback from developers on the development process of the browser, with the aim of applying this feedback to future versions of Safari.
