Samsung has introduced its new Galaxy Watch FE smartwatch, featuring the BioActive sensor for health and fitness tracking and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The smartwatch boasts a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with a sapphire crystal covering for scratch resistance, and is powered by the Exynos W920 dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
The Galaxy Watch FE comes in three colors – rose gold, silver, and black – and runs on WearOS based on Android 11. It can connect to smartphones via Bluetooth and WiFi. The BioActive sensor offers various fitness and wellness features, including sleep monitoring, heart health monitoring, and over 100 workout tracking options.
The smartwatch also offers body composition analysis and sends motivational messages to users. It enables users to easily locate their phone and control the connected Samsung phone’s camera with the Camera Controller feature. The Galaxy Watch FE is compatible with Samsung Wallet for payments and access to boarding passes.
Samsung emphasizes the seamless connection between Galaxy devices with the Galaxy Watch FE. The smartwatch will be available globally this summer, offering users a wide range of features and functionalities to enhance their overall well-being and fitness journey.
